Pancake recipe: sliced bananas
- 1/5 liter (500 ml) of milk
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 4 spoons of sugar (50 gr)
- 15 gr of chemical yeast (2 teaspoons)
- 300 gr of flour (2 full glasses)
- 45 gr of sunflower oil
- 3 Bananas in thin slices.
How is your preparation(pancake recipe): First we beat the eggs mixing with milk, add the salt, sugar and sifted flour with a little yeast (usually there are flours that already contemplate the yeast). We return to beat with all the added ingredients, mixing everything, and then once with all the unified ingredients, the oil is added stirring the whole dough.
Second, heat the pan well and add a little oil, just for the first pancake so it does not stick to it. Then for the following pancakes, it is no longer necessary to spread the oil.
Then we pour the dough already made with all the ingredients, covering the entire surface of the pan, leaving it a few moments before turning and cooking the other side. You can also add slices of bananas thus giving pancakes with bananas, remaining delicious.
American pancakes, is one of the most popular dishes in the United States and Canada. Since ancient times this dish exists in many countries with different names. They are brothers of the Russian “oladi” that my mother was preparing and now I, they only differ in the way of preparation and leave with a different structure. (Recipe shortly).
The American pancakes have a round shape, a thickness of 0.5 mm and are fried in a pan without oil, served with a lot of syrup.
My little girl was sick and she has seen pancakes with blueberries on TV, she asked for them. As we did not have blueberries we exchanged them for bananas, which she cut and was laying on top of the dough while I fried in the pan.
They came out very good we recommend them for breakfast, snack or between meals, they are delicious.
